Through the presentation of selected scenes from some of Brecht?s most important plays, Shannon Murphy and her cast will examine the theatrical techniques he employed. Carefully chosen scenes will be woven together with commentary on the historical and political context of Brecht?s plays. The workshop will highlight many of his innovations, revealing to students what made his theatre so exceptional. |
