Description |
Many of Alfred Dampier's comic interludes as 'Gentlemen George,' the well-bred vagabond, were laughter-moving. One of the features of the play was the 'Gustavus Jones' of Mr Smith. 'Martha Flint,' in the capable hands of Miss Russell, was played to the very life. Alfred Dampier recited Tennyson's 'Charge of the Light Brigade.' |
