Abstract/Description Currency Press is the major publisher of Australian play scripts. The collection covers 1971-1989 and includes correspondence, cuttings, programs etc dealing with all the major Australian playwrights of the late 20th century. As well there is material relating to the involvement of the founders of Currency Press, Katherine Brisbane and Philip Parson, in various organsiations such as the Griffin Theatre Company, Theatre Australia, and the Australian National Playwrights Centre.
