Abstract/Description Miss Stafford took the leading role of Hecuba, and brought out the pathos and heavy tragedy of the part with great effect, as, one after another of her family comes in, each one with worse tidings than the former. The classic woe of Hecuba was done full justice to by Miss Stafford.
