Title Kelly and Leon's New Opera House
Abstract/Description The talented bouffe artists, known to the public as Messrs. Kellv and Leon, have so much reason to be satisfied with the tangible appreciation their performances met with in this city, that they have determined to make a long sojourn amongst us ... an extensive undertaking which will add another handsome and commodious theatre to the places of amusement now extant. This new structure has taken the place of a number of ancient buildings which stood at the corner of Pitt [sic King Street] and York streets.
