In this article, we bring forward the pedagogical strategies and creative outcomes of four courses2= that have focused on devising performance from the vectors of site, place and social history. The teaching practice and performances that we critically reflect on span ten years (2011-20), revealing a devised performance curriculum that has evolved within the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) major at the University of Newcastle. |
