| Description |
Mr. J. C. WILLIAMSON, by special arrangement with Mr. R. D'Oyly Carte, of London, hiring secured the sole right for the Colonies, of Messrs. Gilbert and Sullivan's famous Melodramatic Opera, in two acts, the PIRATES OF PENZANCE
Messrs. Williamson and Garner refer with pride to the style in which pieces have hitherto been placed on the stage of the Theatre Royal, but confidently assure the public that as regards cast, choral, and orchestral effects, scenery, dresses, and mounting, the " Pirates " will be produced on a scale of splendour hitherto unattempted in Australia. |
