Korea's Sadari Movement Laboratory has created a new dynamic interpretation of the play that illuminates the original work's hidden potential and develops a new language in physical theatre. Using wooden chairs as a changeable metaphor the performers both shape the dramatic space and reveal the character’s emotional states, while Astor Piazzola’s dynamic tango becomes the throbbing pulse of the drama. |
