In a coup for the Festival, one of the world's most famous theatre companies, the Royal Shakespeare Company, will visit New Zealand for the first time with a full production. It will bring to New Zealand Shakespeare's wonderful tragi-comedy The Winter's Tale.
The hit of the company's 1992 season at Stratford-upon-Avon, the production transferred to the Barbican in London in 1993 |
