| Description |
Return Season after UK tour in August.Fred blanks, writing in the SMH on 13 September, 1973, had the last word:
“Third time luckier. Back on the campus home ground with Mellor‘s production and Kim Carpenter‘s designs, Eyre had extra verbal clarity, some theatrically telling shadow and silhouette effect, and accomplished singing by Penelope Bruce Patricia Brown and Ron Stephens, its future viability and drawing power will depend more on performances like this then on its neutral music and sober plot.” |
