| Description |
This dramatic monologue is in two acts and is built around two periods in Byron's life, the first when he was living in Genoa in 1822 at the age of 34; the second act is set in Greece two years later, shortly before his death. Blair's selection of material shows Byron in his many guises, as poet and libertine, as political idealist and realist, soldier and revolutionary. |
