Description |
Mich en Scene wowed the fans at last year's Edinburgh Festival with its passionate performances, where angelic singer Micheline Van Hautem appropriately won the prestigious Herald Angel Award and the band received the Spirit of the Festival gong. In this show Mich en Scene presents a tour de force interpretation of Jaques Brels song book. Brel who died in 1978 was claimed by many to be one of the greatest figures in French chanson. Edith Piaf said " he expresses his reason for living and each line hits you in the face and leaves you dazed". |
