Description "Based on the lives of an American Jewish family in World War II. It relates family conflicts through the youthfully innocent eyes of Arty, Jay and the childlike Aunt Bella. Two young boys were sent to stay in Yonkers with their tyrannical grandmother and dippy aunt when their father was forced to go on the road to restore the family fortunes. For eight months Jay and Arty were witness to the battle for each others' love that the women engaged in."
