| Description |
"The Theatre Royal does not lend itself to the setting of such pieces, which operated as a considerable drawback. Mr. Dampier acted up to his own high standard; Miss Rose Dampier sustained the part of Ophelia in a befitting manner; Miss Russell's Gertrude was a fine piece of acting. We confess we were not profoundly impressed by Mr. Hamilton's Claudius." |
