Colombian artist Maria Fernanda Cardoso set about recreating the Flea Circus, patiently training fleas to perform extraordinary tricks. Resembling an unholy cross between a Parisian dominatrix and the id-releasing scientist from Forbidden Planet, Professor Cardoso puts her fleas through their paces, high-diving, walking the right-rope, being shot out of a thimble sized cannon. |
