Commissioned to celebrate the life of Bach on the 250th anniversary of his death. Complete with 75 musicians and dancers, lighting, costumes and movement, the Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov has created an enthralling performance which embodies the grief, suffering and transcendence of Christ. |
