| Description |
In a cosy drawing room setting, two genteel English ladies of indeterminate age reminisce about thirty years of music-making together. They sing, play and act out gems from several of the most nostalgic periods of English popular music - from Gilbert and Sullivan, to Noel Coward to Ivor Novello to Jessie Matthews and The Proms, interspersed with anecdotes and reminiscences about their experiences and acquaintances. |
