Description Part drawing-room comedy, part satire, part love story, Strauss' opera blends ravishing, lyrical music with a deft sense of light comedy. Teddy Tahu Rhodes brings his "handsome baritone voice" to the role of Arlecchino. Horst Hoffmann performs the roles of the tenor and bacchus. And Australian stage legend, Dennis Olsen makes a special guest appearance as the major-domo. Strauss' luscious music will blossom under the direction of the young charismatic German maestro, Michael Boder.
