Description "Roger Pulvers' play with songs describes Brecht's (fictional) staging of Madame Butterfly on the eve of his departure from Los Angeles in 1947 for his native Germany (now the so-called German Democratic Republic). Pulvers uses the opportunity to comment on Amercia as much as on Brecht and his dramaturgical techniques." According to Leonard Radic's review in the Age, Brecht and Pulvers speak through one voice.
