Description |
When the curtain rises, the scene is Russia, 1917. A clock strikes 2am Easter Sunday. Wealthy cosmetician, Natasha Prozorov, a deserted mother of two, has planned an informal late-night get-together for her three sisters-in-law, Olga, Masha and Irena. This will be the first occasion on which all parties have been under the same roof in fifteen years. The situation is complicated by Irena's amnesia, Masha's alcoholism, Olga's spiritual dabbling, several unexpected arrivals and the Russian revolution. |
