Description Perth's ThinIce is one of Australia's newest and fastest growing contemporary theatre companies, now working on its latest piece, a modern interpretation of Franz Schubert's beautiful 24 part song cycle Winterreise (Winter Journey). The seminal 1827 composition explores the heart and soul of 'the wanderer', a figure rejected by love that is wrestling with grief as he journeys through the snow.
