Embed data from AusStage in websites

The AusStage Data Exchange service enables users to programmatically retrieve data in real time from the AusStage database. The service can be used to embed live feeds of up-to-date data in external websites. The data can be retrieved in the following formats:

  1. html - as an unordered list
  2. json - data formatted as a series of objects encoded using the JSON syntax
  3. xml - as a series of elements in an XML file
  4. rss - as a standard RSS feed

An optional parameter can also be used which will cause the data to be wrapped in a JavaScript function to make it easier to integrate with existing websites.

When using this tool up-to-date data is drawn live from the database each time the web page is viewed. Three types of record can be retrieved using this service:

  • Event Records
  • Resource Records
  • Venue Records
