Notes Originally called the Princess Theatre (foundation stone laid 1912) but opened as Rickard's Tivoli Theatre (also called New Tivoli Theatre) on 6 September 1913. Renamed Prince of Wales Theatre 1920. Renamed Tivoli Theatre 1930. Remodelled and reopened as Her Majesty's Theatre 1962. Remodelled and reopened as The Opera Theatre 1977 (officially 1979). Renamed Her Majesty's Theatre 1988. Significantly remodelled in 2020.
